Frankfurt - Eintracht Frankfurt have recognised three-time Formula One World Champion and proud Eagles supporter Sebastian Vettel by making him an honorary member of the club.

Vettel, who it was recently revealed wears an Eintracht shirt bearing the name of striker Alexander Meier as a good luck charm, was presented with the honour at the club's annual general meeting via a live video link. The 25-year-old was visibly delighted to receive such recognition from his beloved Eintracht. "I wish the team every success. The boys are doing a fantastic job!" he said happily.
