Hanover - Another inspirational performance from Szabolcs Huszti earned Hannover 96 a comfortable 4-1 win over 1.FC Nuremberg at the AWD-Arena.

Huszti at the double

Huszti scored one and created two others as The Reds bounced back from defeat at the weekend with another convincing home win.

After dominating the opening period, Hannover eventually took the lead when Steven Cherundolo sent the ball to Jan Schlaudraff and he cut in from the right and squared for Szabolcs Huszti. He in turn laid it off for Lars Stindl to open his account for the season and put Hannover in front in the 21st minute. Eight minutes later, Huszti made it two, stealing the ball off Per Nilsson before bearing down on Raphael Schäfer and curling the ball into the far corner with the outside of his left foot, meaning the Hungarian has now been involved in nine of the Reds' ten goals this season.

Ya Konan brace

Didier Ya Konan made it three in the 52nd minute, dribbling his way into the penalty area and away from Schäfer before turning to slot the ball low into the bottom corner. The Ivory Coast international grabbed his second and Hannover s fourth in the 64th minute with no surprise that Huszti again provided the assist, this time laying the ball on a plate for Ya Konan to tuck home. Timothy Chandler grabbed a consolation for Nuremberg in the 73rd minute with a shot into the far corner, which seemed to go through Ron-Robert Zieler's hands.
