TSV 1860 Munich remain precariously placed in the relegation play-off place after a 1-0 defeat to SpVgg Greuther Fürth at the Allianz Arena on Matchday 29.

TSV 1860 Munich 0-1 SpVgg Greuther Fürth

1860 were seemingly still asleep in the opening phases, allowing Robert Zulj the freedom of the penalty area to head in Veton Berisha's cross for his seventh goal of the season after only 105 seconds. The hosts responded well, though, and enjoyed the better of proceedings without threatening in front of goal before the break.

The Lions continued to dominate after the interval, although could find no way through against a resolute Fürth defence. Only Levent Aycicek and Sascha Mölders offered any threat, but their late efforts were easily repelled by visiting goalkeeper Sebastian Mielitz to secure his side three points and leave 1860 in serious danger of the drop.
