Munich - Benno Möhlmann's first game in charge of TSV 1860 Munich ended in defeat as Karlsruher SC scraped to a 1-0 victory in a bottom of the table clash in Bundesliga 2.

Möhlmann made four changes to the team which drew 1-1 in Bielefeld on Matchday 10 and the game started well enough for 1860, with the Munich outfit controlling much of the early possession.

Chances were few and far between, however, until the 33rd minute, when Hiroki Yamada's brilliant pass set up Erwin Hoffer to put Karlsruhe 1-0 up. Yet although 1860 subsequently continued to dominate, Karlsruhe's defence was never truly threatened and they held on for a priceless three points.
