Leipzig - RB Leipzig and 1. FC Kaiserlautern remain level on points in the Bundesliga 2 table after playing out a goalless draw at the Red Bull Arena in Matchday 12's closing encounter.

Lautern dominated proceedings in the first half and will be kicking themselves that they failed to cash in on their superiority. Willi Orban glanced a header onto the crossbar from Amin Younes' corner, and Ruben Jenssen and Philipp Hoffmann stung the palms of Fabio Coltorti as the visitors threatened before the interval.

In the second half, Kaiserslautern continued to have the better opportunities, with Younes having a shot blocked when well placed and Hofmann rounding the keeper, only to fire against the outside of the post. Leipzig might have stolen the points if Yussuf Poulsen had converted Terrence Boyd's cross from close range but the Red Devils were well worth a share of the spoils at the very least. RB move up to third, with Lautern and SV Darmstadt 98 hot on their heels.
