Nuremberg - Jakub Sylvestr snatched a last-gasp equaliser for 1. FC Nürnberg to earn them a precious point in a 2-2 draw at home to FC St. Pauli on Saturday.

Sebastian Maier set up Marc Rzatkowski to give Pauli a flying start with a goal within a minute, before Maier was then denied by Patrick Rakovsky as the guests began ruthlessly. Nürnberg levelled when Sylvestr latched onto a poor backpass from Dennis Daube in the 18th minute, but that man Maier restored the visitors' advantage on the hour mark. Daube then wasted a presentable chance to make amend by hitting the post with only Rakovsky to beat, and it proved to be a costly miss, as Sylvestr brought the Bavarians level late on after a neat exchange of passes with Niclas Füllkrug, keeping Nürnberg above Pauli in the standings.
