Darmstadt - Promoted outfit SV Darmstadt 98 continued their astonishing start to the season by comfortably beating 1. FC Nürnberg 3-0 to maintain their unbeaten home record in 2014/15.

The hosts started strongly and although they were initially unable to break down a well-organised Nürnberg defence, their persistence paid off shortly before half time when striker ended his scoring drought by netting for the first time since Matchday 5, taking his tally to six for the season.

Going behind deflated a below-par visiting team even further and Darmstadt took full advantage, with Leon Balogun making it 2-0 with a superb effort midway through the second period. Midfielder Tobias Kempe then extinguished any hopes of a comeback in the 82nd minute with a goal from an excellent counter-attack, leaving the hosts in the lofty heights of fourth in the standings, six points behind leaders FC Ingolstadt.
