Ingolstadt - FC Ingolstadt returned to the top of Bundesliga 2 with a narrow 1-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig.

Both sides had opportunities to open the scoring in an evenly-matched first half, but Benjamin Hübner, Mirko Boland and Havard Nielsen all failed to make the most of promising chances before the interval. The Bavarians eventually took the lead two minutes into the second half, Lukas Hinterseer latching onto Pascal Groß's through-ball to fire home his third of the campaign. Mushaga Bakenga almost earned the Lions a share of the spoils in the second half, but his effort was well-held by Ramazan Özcan in the Ingolstadt goal.
