Hamburg - FC St. Pauli picked picked up a comfortable 3-0 win over ten-man 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday.

The visitors were up against it from the get-go and it only got worse for Berlin when Björn Jopek received a straight red card for a foul on Ante Budimir. Christopher Nöthe stepped up to dispatch the resultant spot-kick for his second of the season, but it took almost another 50 minutes for Pauli to extend their lead and put the result beyond any doubt. John Verhoek's cross found Marc Rzatkowski, who bundled in from close range at the second time of asking, before Verhoek punctuated a blistering counter with a late third.
