Karlsruhe - FC Ingolstadt 04's unbeaten start to the 2014/15 Bundesliga 2 season continued apace courtesy of a well-deserved 1-0 win away to Karlsruher SC.

The visitors started brightly, with Lukas Hinterseer and Stefan Lex a constant thorn in Karlsruher's side. Both had chances, before Daniel Gordon inadvertently directed a Pascal Groß free kick into his own net to give Ingolstadt the lead six minutes before half time. Lex saw an effort ruled out shortly after the restart, with Ralph Hasenhüttl's men keeping the hosts at arm's length for the remainder to extend their unbeaten league run to eight matches and make it 17 matches unbeaten in the league away from home.
