Munich - TSV 1860 Munich won their first game since parting company with coach Ricardo Moniz, beating Bavarian rivals Greuther Fürth 2-0 at the Allianz Arena.

Rubin Okotie got the Lions back on the winning trail with the opening goal after six minutes, slotting his shot inside the left-hand post with a fine volley. 1860 looked far more confident than in recent weeks, dominating the first half and starting the second still in the ascendency.

Fürth tried to react as the clock ticked down, but a mistake in defence allowed Ilie Sanchez to double the hosts' advantage and earn them all three points, the former FC Barcelona player curling the ball in delightfully with the outside of his boot into the unguarded net from 20 yards.
