Darmstadt - Newly-promoted SV Darmstadt 98 moved top of the Bundesliga 2 standings after thrashing FSV Frankfurt 1899 4-0 on Wednesday.

The division's bottom club were up against it from the get-go, with Darmstadt defender Roman Bregerie heading home his second goal of the season in the 16th minute. Another Tobias Kempe corner came up trumps as Aytac Sulu drove in a second, before teeing up Jerome Gondorf for a third only 120 seconds later.

The chances continued to flow after the break, with Dominik Stroh-Engel striking the bar and Sulu completing his brace with five minutes left on the clock.
