Aue - FC Erzgebirge Aue recorded their first win of the 2014/15 campaign on Matchday 6, beating fellow strugglers FC St. Pauli 3-0 at the Sparkassen-Erzgebirgsstadion.

Frank Löning opened the scoring for the hosts shortly before the interval when he steered Mike Könneke's cross into the back of the net from around twelve yards. Erzgebirge doubled their advantage eleven minutes into the second half, Rico Benatelli playing a clever one-two with Löning before firing past Philipp Tschauner in the St. Pauli goal.

Romario Kortzorg rubbed salt into the visitors' wounds with the third on 69 minutes, chipping the ball over the onrushing Tschauner for his first of the campaign. Aue remain bottom of the Bundesliga 2 table on goal difference, while St. Pauli remain in trouble in 16th.
