Braunschweig - Eintracht Braunschweig ended SV Darmstadt 98's unbeaten start to the Bundesliga 2 season with a 2-0 win over the Lilies at the Eintracht-Stadion.

Havard Nielsen opened the scoring for the Lions, who had only won one of their first five league matches in 2014/15. The Norwegian latched onto Hendrick Zuck's lay-off on the edge of the area before firing past Christian Mathenia to give Braunschweig the lead with ten minutes of the first half remaining. Orhan Ademi missed a golden opportunity to seal the points for Torsten Lieberknecht's men in the second half, but captain Dennis Kruppke eventually put the result beyond all doubt in stoppage time, rounding Mathenia to fire into an empty net.
