Hamburg - FC St. Pauli and FC Erzgebirge Aue each ended their respective two-game losing streaks in the final round of 2013/14 Bundesliga 2 action as they played out a 2-2 draw.

St. Pauli settled into their rhythm quickly at the Millerntor Stadion, bossing proceedings throughout. Christopher Nöthe gave visiting Aue a first warning after ten minutes, but the striker did better a little later when slotting Sebastian Maier’s pass home from the edge of the box. Guido Kocer hauled the deep-lying visiting side level following a fine solo effort at the half-hour mark, but the hosts didn’t need long to regain the lead, with Maier’s cool finish leaving Martin Männel in goal no chance.

The home side kept up the pressure after the break and carved out several opportunities, with Fabian Boll seeing their best chance denied by Männel on the St. Pauli captain’s final appearance for the club. Erzgebirge never gave up and eventually and managed a second comeback on the day a good hour into the encounter courtesy of Jakub Sylvestr’s left-footed strike, leaving St. Pauli in eighth in the final standings, while Aue dropped into 14th.
