Berlin - TSV 1860 Munich were held to a 1-1 draw away to 1. FC Union Berlin on the final day of the 2013/14 season.

The visitors started promisingly at the Stadion der Freundschaft, creating numerous chances in the opening half. Moritz Stoppelkamp was at the heart of most the Bavarians’ promising action, the midfielder twice going close following set-pieces, before setting up Grzegorz Wojtkowiak for the Polish defender to nod home from the edge of the six-yard box.

Union returned to the second period in high spirits, however, dominating possession and looking the more threatening side. Patrick Kohlmann’s swerving long-range effort levelled matters for Uwe Neuhaus’ charges in the coach's final game at the capital club, and they should have taken the lead through Sören Brandy, but he failed to find the net with a diving header. In the end, both sides had to settle for a draw as 1860 finished the campaign in seventh, while Union moved into ninth.
