Fürth - SpVgg Greuther Fürth reclaimed second place in Bundesliga 2 into after coming from behind to defeat FC Erzgebirge Aue 2-1 at the Trolli Arena.

The visitors took a surprise lead when Filip Luksik's 30-yard free-kick evaded everyone in the penalty area before bouncing past keeper Wolfgang Hesl and into the net. Fürth were level seven minutes before the interval, however, thanks to a superb strike from Daniel Brosinski from 25-yards with the outside of his right foot.

Ilir Azemi gave the hosts a deserved lead 13 minutes into the second half when the striker latched onto a long ball over the top of the Aue defence, brushed off the challenge of Ivan Gonzales, before rounding keeper Martin Männel and walking the ball into the net. Jakub Sylvestr spurned a late opportunity to draw Aue level, but Fürth held on to leapfrog Paderborn, who beat FC Ingolstadt 2-1 on Friday.
