Karlsruhe - Dimitrij Nazarov scored a late equaliser as Karlsruher SC held Promotion rivals 1. FC Kaiserslautern to a 2-2 draw at the Waldstadion.

The hosts took the lead in spectacular fashion after 27 minutes when Manuel Torres sent an exquisite lob over Lautern keeper Tobias Sippel and into the far corner from inside the penalty area. A Simon Zoller header restored parity nine minutes into the second half, however, before Zoller then buried his second of the game a quarter of an hour later to put the visitors in front. Just as it looked as if Kaiserslautern were heading for all three points, however, Nazarov let fly from distance and Dirk Orlishausen, unsighted by defenders, could do nothing to keep the effort out. KSC are now five points behind the Bundesliga 2 play-off spot, while Kaiserslautern move up to fourth.
