Aue - FC Erzbebirge Aue came from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory against FSV Frankfurt 1899 in the Sparkassen-Erzgebirgsstadion, moving them eight points clear of the drop zone.

Aue’s defence couldn't prevent Frankfurt’s Michael Görlitz firing home from a tight angle after failing to clear their lines with the first real chance of the game. However, having gotten their act together after falling behind, the hosts thought they had restored parity in the 50th minute only for Rico Benatelli's strike to come back off the woodwork. Aue did not have to wait long though, as Jakub Sylvestr toe-poked the ball into the back of the net with a true striker's finish. FSV's Edmond Kapllani promptly had an effort ruled out for handball before Aue turned the game around when Sylvestr found Benatelli, who finished with aplomb to secure all three points for Erzgebirge.
