Bochum - Manuel Stiefler scored the only goal of the game as SV Sandhausen recorded a deserved 1-0 win away to VfL Bochum.

Eight-placed Sandhausen were far and away the better side from the get-go, effectively putting the game to bed after seven minutes when Stiefler hammered in from 25 yards. Alois Schwartz' men continued in much the same vein in the second half, with Nicky Adler, Danny Blum and Simon Tüting going close. Bochum were toothless to say the least and remain just five points clear of the drop zone with eight games left to play.
