Karlsruhe - Karlsruher SC extended their unbeaten run to 12 matches thanks to a 2-1 win over SV Sandhausen.

All the goals fell in the second half with Dominic Peitz putting the hosts in front before Rouwen Hennings made it two from the penalty spot. Although reduced to ten men following the dismissal of Florian Hübner, Sandhausen showed excellent fighting spirit to find a route back into the game through Nicky Adler's header.

That proved to be too little, too late, however, as Karlsruher held on against a Sandhausen side who ended the game with just eight men as two injuries after all the substitutions had been carried out further reduced their ranks.
