Berlin - 1. FC Union Berlin responded well to conceding early to comfortably beat DSC Arminia Bielefeld 4-2 to climb to fourth in the Bundesliga 2 standings.

Just 27 seconds were on the clock when the masked marauder Fabian Klos headed Bielefeld in front, and Berlin struggled to find their usual game, with misplaced passes preventing them from developing any chances. However, they were level when a defensive mistake let in Mario Eggimann to equalise from Torsten Mattuschka's corner.

Soon after, Patrick Kohlmann made it two after Adam Nemec's shot was only parried by Patrick Platins, and Nemec himself ensured the hosts took a two-goal cushion into the break, scoring with a header in the 42nd minute. Mattuschka then made it four from the penalty spot after Manuel Hornig fouled Kohlmann, but Bielefeld responded immediately through a penalty of their own, converted by Tim Jerat.
