Dresden - A 0-0 draw with VfL Bochum made it seven homes games unbeaten for SG Dynamo Dresden, who were reduced to ten men late on.

The hosts went a man down in the second half when Mohamed Aoudia received a red card, but Bochum failed to capitalise as both teams picked up a point which in truth does neither a great deal of good in their respective quests to beat the drop.

Chances were few and far between in a first half dominated by prudence. Marcel Maltritz did have the ball in the back of the net for the visitors, but the goal was ruled out for offside. That proved to be the closest the 27,872 fans came to seeing a goal, although there was more drama when Aoudia was dismissed for serious foul play as he caught Florian Jungwirth with his elbow. Bochum tried to take advantage, but Dresden held firm to temporarily move out of the bottom two.
