Karlsruhe - FSV Frankfurt fought back from three goals down to claim a 3-3 draw at Karlsruher SC, who missed the chance to climb to third in Bundesliga 2.

Ilian Micanski gave the hosts an eighth-minute lead when the Bulgarian bundled home Manuel Torres' cross, and Karlsruhe doubled their lead 20 minutes later courtesy of Rouwen Hennings' calm finish. The home side kept the pressure up despite their lead and further extended their lead courtesy of a second goal from Micanski.

Proceedings changed after the break, however, when Zafer Yelen's curling free-kick pulled one back for the visitors before Edmond Kapllani's penalty further reduced the arrears eight minutes from time. With three minutes remaining, both sides were eventually level as Denis Epstein laid the ball off to Yelen in the penalty area, whose sidefooted finish into the bottom corner sent the visiting players and fans into raptures. The point lifts Frankfurt out of the automatic relegation places, while KSC remain in fourth.
