Sandhausen - Greuther Fürth closed the gap on Bundesliga 2 leaders 1. FC Köln to just a single point with a 3-1 victory over SV Sandhausen.

The hosts took the lead when Timo Achenbach's corner was headed on by Danny Blum, allowing Simon Tüting to nod home his second goal of the season from inside the six-yard box. Fürth were level just after the half-hour mark, however, when Zoltan Stieber set up Niclas Füllkrug, who calmly slid in his fifth strike of the campaign. And Fürth then went in front when Julian Schauerte was adjudged to have fouled Robert Zillner in the penalty area, with Stieber sent Riemann the wrong way from the resulting spot-kick. The win was then sealed when Florian Trinks converted Daniel Brosinski's cross 13 minutes from time.
