Ingolstadt - A Nicky Adler double gave SV Sandhausen a deserved 2-0 win away at FC Ingolstadt 04 in the Audi Sportpark.

The hosts came into the match with three wins from their last four and they began the game on the front foot, with Brazilian forward Caiuby heading over the bar. After 16 minutes they were undone, however, when Adler seized possession and sent a right-foot drive rocketing into the top corner. And six minutes before the break he had a second, touching in from Julian Schauerte’s superb free-kick. The Bavarians attempted a rally in the second half but Sandhausen’s backline stayed strong to see out a second straight win and sixth overall this term.
