Düsseldorf - Karlsruher SC extended their unbeaten streak to six courtesy of goals from Selcuk Alibaz and Dominic Peitz in a 2-0 win at ten-man Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Hoping to bounce back from a humbling defeat to Aue last week, Düsseldorf started brightly, enjoying the larger share of possession and carving out a number of half-chances. The hosts were caught cold almost half an hour in, however, when KSC winger Alibaz left Düsseldorf goalkeeper Michael Rensing no chance from the edge of the box. Peitz added a second after the break for a Karlsruhe side set up to counterattack, the goal coming shortly after Mathis Bolly had been shown a straight red card.
