Bielefeld - TSV 1860 Munich took a step away from the lower reaches of Bundesliga 2, leaving DSC Arminia Bielefeld in the thick of danger with a 1-0 win in East Westphalia.

Dominik Stahl's goal proved to be enough to earn the Lions all three points in what was a battle between two sides struggling for form. Arminia's best spell of the game came towards the end of the first half, but Stahl got in a telling deflection to turn Christian Müller's effort over the crossbar. The visitors struck in the 57th minute with Stahl sending in a shot on the turn which took a slight deflection off an Arminia defender on its way past Patrick Platins. Bielefeld burst into life, but Müller's goalbound shot was cleared in front of the line by Christopher Schindler as 1860 held on to victory.
