Kaiserslautern - 1. FC Kaiserslautern earned their first win in three Bundesliga 2 games as they beat FC St. Pauli 4-1.

The hosts took the lead in the sixth minute when Simon Zoller latched onto Mohamadou Idrissou’s flick-on to fire into the bottom corner. Idrissou had a great chance to double Kaiserslautern’s lead, but the visitors’ keeper Philipp Tschauner managed to get a boot to the Cameroon striker’s shot to divert it out of harm’s way. St. Pauli equalised on the half-hour mark when an unmarked Jan-Philipp Kalla fired low past Tobias Sippel in the hosts’ goal to score his first of the season.

Four minutes after the restart, Zoller netted his second of the game with a carbon copy of his first goal: Florian Dick’s long throw-in was headed on by Idrissou and the 22-year-old kept his composure to put the hosts back in front. St. Pauli defender Sören Gonther then put through his own net, before Markus Karl tapped home late on.
