Fürth - FC St. Pauli delivered a clinical attacking display to beat SpVgg Greuther Fürth 4-2 in an entertaining clash between the two former Bundesliga sides.

St. Pauli made it clear from the off they were intent on maximum points and Sebastian Maier out them in front early on, finding the net with a low shot. Stephan Fürstner brought Fürth back into the game after 24 minutes, but Kevin Schindler's half-time introduction proved to an inspired decision by St. Pauli coach Michael Frontzeck, the right-back first sending a rocket past Wolfgang Hesl and then making it 3-1 from close-range. Florian Trinks pulled one back Fürth twelve minutes from time, but Fin Bartels eventually decided matters to hand lively St. Pauli a deserved three points.
