Frankfurt - Australian striker Mathew Leckie led FSV Frankfurt to a 4-1 victory over a struggling FC Ingolstadt 04.

Leckie opened the scoring after 21 minutes, before Michael Görlitz arrived late to fire in from close-range just before the break and give the home side what would prove to be an unassailable lead. Frankfurt also dominated the second period, and Leckie completed a brace after 53 minutes. Ingolstadt pulled one back late on through a header from Israeli midfielder Almog Cohen, but it was nothing more than a consolation, particularly when substitute Nikita Rukavytsya scored after a breakaway in the 86th minute.

The result sufficiently boosts Frankfurt's goal difference to lift them to eighth place, but Ingolstadt drop to the bottom of the league.
