Munich - TSV 1860 Munich recorded a comfortable 3-1 win over Erzgebirge Aue in Friedhelm Funkel's first home game in charge of the club.

Moritz Stoppelkamp put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot after Benjamin Lauth had been felled by Ivan Gonzales in the area. 1860 doubled their advantage in spectacular fashion when Yannick Start let fly from around 30 yards out, his shot flying past Sascha Kirschstein in the Aue goal and into the corner of the net.

A Rob Friend header from Stoppelkamp's free-kick extended 1860's lead, before Jakub Sylvestr pulled a goal back for Aue with ten minutes remaining. The hosts held on, however, to give Funkel his first victory as head coach of the club.
