Munich - The Bavarian derby between TSV 1860 Munich and FC Ingolstadt was decided early in the second half by an own goal from Ingolstadt centre-half Roger, resulting in a 1-0 victory for the home side.

The opening 30 minutes passed slowly and without incident, with only Gabor Kiraly and his usual eccentricities in the 1860 goal entertaining fans inside the Allianz Arena. 1860 came out of the dressing room the more aggressive side after the restart, though, and after 48 minutes their zeal was rewarded by Roger’s comical sliced finish past his own goalkeeper. Ingolstadt looked to come back in the last ten minutes, but 1860 refused to relinquish their grip on the game.

The win sends the men from Munich into third place, while Ingolstadt remain rooted to the foot of the table.
