Kaiserslautern - Two goals from Mohamadou Idrissou kept 1. FC Kaiserslautern in pursuit of Greuther Fürth at the top of Bundesliga 2 as they defeated Erzgebirge Aue 2-1.

Idrissou opened his account for the season from the penalty spot after Karim Matmour was fouled inside the area by Solomon Okoronkwo. The Cameroonian forward placed his shot low into the bottom corner to give the Red Devils the lead before half-time.

Aue silenced the Fritz-Walter Stadion when Guido Kocer converted the rebound after Tobias Sippel only parried Michael Fink’s shot, but the rumpus soon returned when Idrissou headed home Simon Zoller’s neat near-post flick to keep Kaiserslautern within three points of the league leaders.
