Aue - Jakub Sylvestr scored the only goal of the game as Erzgebige Aue registered a slender 1-0 win over SV Sandhausen on Saturday.

For the most part, clear-cut chances were at a premium, with Daniel Schulz passing up the visitors' best opportunity in a low-key first half. Aue were reduced to long-range efforts as the half progressed, but Sandhausen's good work was undone when a lapse in concentration gifted Sylvestr his third goal in two league outings with seven minutes remaining.

The win lifts Aue into a share of top spot with a 100 per cent record from the opening two games of the season.
