Sandhausen - A well-deserved 3-1 win over FC Ingolstadt 04 at last gave SV Sandhausen fans something to cheer at the Hartwaldstadion on Saturday.

Their relegation to the third tier confirmed following Dynamo Dresden's match-winning exploits a day earlier, second-bottom Sandhausen were rewarded for a bright start when Nicky Adler fired home inside seven minutes. Ingolstadt's Christian Eigler levelled 19 minutes later, but the hosts were not to be denied as Andrew Wooton struck twice in the space of 25 second-half minutes to hand Hans-Jürgen Boysen's men only their sixth win of a rollercoaster campaign.
