Munich - 1860 Munich's poor home form continued as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of FSV Frankfurt.

Just two points separated the clubs going into the game, but Frankfurt signalled their intentions in the Allianz Arena with a dominant first-half display that saw them take a two-goal lead at the break. Yannick Stark opened the scoring with a well-placed strike after 1860's Gabor Kiraly had made a smart save, before Michael Görlitz smashed in a sensational second. The hosts rallied in the second period and halved the deficit through Canadian international towering header, but FSV held on for an impressive and deserved win.
