Bochum – VfL Bochum’s honeymoon period under new coach Peter Neururer continued as they defeated FC St Pauli 3-0.

Zlatko Dedic was the visitors’ chief tormentor, as his first-half brace, a penalty after a foul on Bochum’s Christoph Kramer and then a low drive through the keeper’s legs, put the home side in control. Pauli attempted a fightback and Dennis Ginczek went close to pulling a goal back for them on more than one occasion. Bochum’s defence held firm, though, and it was left to Japanese midfielder Yusuke Tasaka to seal the win with an arrowed drive into the corner, making it two victories from two for Neururer.
