Kaiserslautern - 1. FC Kaiserslautern put some daylight between themselves and 1.FC Köln in the race for third place in Bundesliga 2 courtesy of a 3-0 win over FC Ingolstadt 04.

Albert Bunjaku bagged a brace with Mohamed Idrissou also on target as the Red Devils turned on the style in the second half. The Bavarians, who remain in mid-table, resisted until just before half time when a foul by Andreas Görlitz on Bunjaku inside the penalty area allowed the Swiss striker to put the hosts in front from the spot. Bunjaku added a second with a header from Idrissou's cross (71') before a shot on the turn from Idrissou (87') completed the scoring and gave Kaiserslautern a four-point cushion in third place.
