Warrior boys Arminia are back

Arminia Bielefeld

DSC Arminia Bielefeld, whose name is derived from the ancient Germanic warrior Arminius, are one of the glut of professional clubs from the region of North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1905, they were regular competitors in the regional leagues before the Bundesliga's formation and have the distinction of being the first team to play in a game broadcast live on German radio - against Preußen Münster in 1925. Die Arminen will contest the 2013/14 season in the second tier after two seasons in the 3.Liga.
