Thomas Müller

Age: 26

Club: FC Bayern München

  • With 14 goals this season, he has already beaten his personal Bundesliga record for an entire season.
  • Bayern have never lost in the record 67 Bundesliga matches in which Müller has scored (64 wins, 3 draws).

Shinji Kagawa

Age: 26

Club: Borussia Dortmund

  • Like his team mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Kagawa looks a changed man this season.
  • He has scored four goals and notched five assists.
  • The Japanese international has an average of 79 touches per game.
  • Netted a dramatic winner in Wolfsburg on Matchday 15.

Yunus Malli

Age: 23

Club: 1. FSV Mainz 05

  • With eight goals, he is fourth in the Bundesliga goalscoring rankings.
  • Malli has already eclipsed his previous Bundesliga season record.
  • He has scored three of the six goals Mainz have scored on the counter attack this season.
  • Notched a Matchday 5 hat-trick against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.


Age: 30

Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach

  • Raffael was a key figure in Gladbach's revival this season. In the first ten games of Andre Schubert's reign, he notched six goals and created eight more.
  • The Brazilian, who has featured in all 17 league games to date, has already been involved in as many of the Foals' goals as he was in 31 appearances last season (12 goals, 2 assists).
  • Grabbed a brace against Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 9.
