A trio of Bundesliga goalkeepers backstop the Switzerland squad that will challenge for the European title at UEFA EURO 2016.

Borussia Dortmund’s Roman Bürki, Yann Sommer of Borussia Mönchengladbach and FC Augsburg number one Marwin Hitz have all been included in Vladimir Petkovic’s squad for the final tournament, which kicks off on 10 June.

Four defenders from the German top flight - Nico Elvedi (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Johan Djourou (Hamburger SV), Ricardo Rodriguez (VfL Wolfsburg) and Fabian Schär (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim) - also feature.

1. FSV Mainz 05 midfielder Fabian Frei is joined by Granit Xhaka, who captained Mönchengladbach for much of last season, with Bayer 04 Leverkusen forward Admir Mehmedi and Eintracht Frankurt striker Haris Seferovic completing a strong Bundesliga contingent in the 23-man selection.

Drawn in Group A, Switzerland will start their campaign against Albania on 11 June in Lens before facing Romania in Paris on 15 June and hosts France on 19 June in Lille.
