Laurent Koscielny heads home from the visitors first corner of the match. Bayern have got to maintain their composure now if they're to book their place in the Champions League quarter finals.

83': Javi Martinez picks up a yellow card for a clash with Tomas <b<Rosicky in midfield and will therefore miss the first leg of the quarter finals providing Bayern can hold on in the closing stages.

HALF-TIME Bayern go in at the break a goal down at home to Arsenal thanks to Olivier Giroud’s early opening goal. The visitors have demonstrated very little threat since breaking the deadlock and while the Bavarians are controlling the encounter, they are yet to make the most of their numerous chances in front of goal.

Elsewhere, Jerome Boateng, who believes the hosts are “feeling positive and full of confidence” ahead of tonight’s encounter, and Bastian Schweinsteiger both miss out due to suspension.
