CALIGIURI FIRES WIDE!

Was that the chance? A long ball into the Stuttgart area is headed by Anton, but only to Caligiuri at the back post. He meets it first-time on his left but drags his shot well wide across goal.

AUGSBURG GOING ALL-OUT!

The away side are chucking the proverbial kitchen sink at this game now, sending bodies forward at will in an attempt to get back level. Stuttgart are frustrating them, though, and keeping the ball up at the other end.

NEXT CHANGE

Benes replaces Richter with Augsburg looking for a quick repsonse.
74'

KALAJDZIC HEADS HOME!

His 8th goal of the season with his head - the most of any player this season - and Stuttgart are back in front. It's a long ball towards the big man, who flicks on to Churlinov at the back post. His cross into the middle goes between Oxford and Gouweleeuw, and Kalajdzic is there to head home from just two yards out.

THE LEVELLER

Quick-thinking from Niederlechner, who was in the right place at the right time to nod Augsburg level. Will we see another goal to potentially win this one?
71'

THOMMY FORCES A SAVE!

The substitute is making moves as he dribbles his way into the Augsburg area to the left, and fires a shot at the near post with his left. It's a fine save from Gikiewicz to turn the ball behind.
68'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Fresh legs and an attacking push for Augsburg as Caligiuri and Jensen come on for Augsburg with defensive midfielder Moravek sacrificed.

DOUBLE CHANGE

Matarazzo is looking for some fresh ideas in attack, and so on come Thommy and Churlinov with Coulibaly unable to continue.

COULIBALY DOWN

The Frenchman is hurt after a 50-50 challenge with Iago, with both going to meet a cross into the Augsburg area first. He's back up now and hobbling off to the sidelines with the hope he can continue.
61'

HOW WILL STUTTGART RESPOND?

The hosts have been second-best here since going ahead early in the first half and now that Augsburg are level, they'll be forced to make more attacking moves if they want to grab the lead again. This game is perfectly set for the final 30...
59'

LEVEL ON THE COUNTER!

A fantastic goal from Augsburg on the counter-attack has the away side level. It's Richter who sends Iago away down the left and in the end, the Brazilian's cross to the back post is met by Richter's header. It bounces off Kempf's back and Niederlechner shows quick reactions to nod home from just a couple of yards out.

KALAJDZIC HEADER!

Usually when Sosa and Kalajdzic combine, it produces a goal, but this time Gikiewicz was in the way. It's a sweet cross to the back post from Sosa on the left and Kalajdzic rises highest to meet it, but the Augsburg No.1 makes a good save.

Richter fires a free-kick into the Stuttgart area and it bounces off Oxford, rather than the Englishman putting it on goal, and Bredlow makes another solid save having been well-positioned for that one.

GETTING STARTED

Gouweleeuw is getting forward well from defence for the visitors, and combining with Richter down the right. The away side putting Stuttgart under some more pressure, continuing where they left off in the first half.
50'

EVEN START

Both sides have had plenty of the ball in the opening five minutes of this second half, with Stuttgart pressing high to start, not allowing the Augsburg defence much time on the ball.

ADDED TIME!

RICHTER AGAIN!

Another big chance for Augsburg and Richter as he breaks down the left. He has Niederlechner and Vargas in support, but cuts inside onto his right and fires a shot bound for the bottom left corner. Once again, Bredlow is down low to make a top save. No Kobel, no worries so far for Stuttgart.
43'

HEADING FOR THE BREAK

Stuttgart have had the possession and have the lead, but Augsburg have had most of the chances on goal as we approach the break.

AUGSBURG ON THE HUNT

The away side have been dominant since going behind, but have missed some big chances to draw level.
38'

VARGAS FORCES A SAVE!

Another good chance for Augsburg as Vargas picks up possession 25 yards from goal and pushes forward on his right before curling a shot at goal. It's low to Bredlow's left, but he's down well to make another solid save.
36'

DIDAVI FIRES WIDE

A rare chance for Stuttgart since going ahead as the ball drops kindly for Didavi on the edge of the Augsburg area, but he slices his volley this time.
34'

MUCH IMPROVED

Since going behind, Augsburg have had three attempts on goal and conceded none at the other end. Weinzierl will be happy with how his side have responded here.
32'

GOING LONG

Augsburg are looking dangerous going forward with long diagonal balls across the pitch in search of Vargas and Hahn. It's working well in behind Stuttgart's wing-backs.

HUGE CHANCE FOR RICHTER!

It should really be 1-1 here as Richter passes up a golden chance. It's a fantastically weighted pass over the top from Hahn to reach Vargas, who then plays the ball across the area to Richter. He cuts past one challenge to be in one-on-one with Bredlow around the penalty spot, but he fires his effort straight at the goalkeeper. A head-in-hands moment for the German forward.
24'

AUGSBURG WORKING HARD

The away side - who have covered the second-most distance as a team this season - are working hard again here early on. But sadly for them, it's been in chasing the Stuttgart passing so far.
22'

COULIBALY ON

A straight swap on the right wing with Coulibaly coming on for Massimo.
20'

MASSIMO DOWN AND OUT

The winger is going to have to come off here after pulling up with what looks to be a muscular injury. Stuttgart will be forced into an early change with the 20-year-old forced off.
20'

KHEDIRA HAS A GO!

The former Stuttgart man takes aim from range here with Augsburg's first real effort on goal. It's a well-hit shot from 25 yards and forces Bredlow into a good early save.

A touch from Gumny's sliding challenge helped it on its way, but Förster will claim that one.

STUTTGART AHEAD THROUGH FÖRSTER!

Stuttgart's bright start has been capitalised on with the lead inside 11 minutes. It's a quick break forward with Klement clipping the ball into the Augsburg area towards Kalajdzic. It bounces loose off the striker, with Förster's run perfectly lined up to meet the ball as it drops loose in front of goal and he slots home for the lead.

OPEN START

It's been an intense start here in Stuttgart with the game flying out of the blocks at a high tempo. Augsburg looking to switch quickly from defence to attack, too.
3'

DOUBLE CHANCE!

Stuttgart break quickly with Kalajdzic sending Massimo away down the right. He cuts inside onto his left foot across the Augsburg area before shooting from 10 yards. His effort is straight at Gikiewicz but the rebound comes to Didavi on the edge, only for him to fire wide at the near post. A fast start here from the hosts!

KICK-OFF COMING UP!

The warm-ups have been completed, the teams are heading out onto the pitch and we're almost ready to rock with another Bundesliga weekend...

HAHN THE MAN TONIGHT?

Andre Hahn has scored a team-leading seven Bundesliga goals for Augsburg this season. He has netted three times in 11 meetings with Stuttgart. He'll be part of a four-man attack this evening, alongside Vargas, Richter and Niederlechner.

AUGSBURG'S RECENT DIP

Augsburg have lost their last four away games in a row, failing to score in their most recent three. Five and four respectively would equal and set a new club record. It means tonight's visitors in Stuttgart are just three points above the relegation play-off spot with three games to play.

WATCH: GETTING WARM IN THE STUTTGART SUN...

THE RETURN OF WEINZIERL

Augsburg swapped Heiko Herrlich for Markus Weinzierl a couple of weeks ago, returning one of the club’s best ever coaches to the WWK Arena. Weinzierl's best win ratio to date fell during his first stint as Augsburg coach (36.26 percent); his worst came in 23 matches at the Stuttgart helm (17.39 per cent).

KEY MAN KALAJDZIC

Stuttgart have lost just three of 12 Bundesliga matches in which Kalajdzic has scored, but won only five of 18 when he has not. The Bundesliga's tallest player has scored the most headed goals of any player this season, providing tough work for the Augsburg defence.

STUTTGART TEAM NEWS

Kobel and Castro miss out, while Ahamada's red card against Leipzig results in the 19-year-old being suspended against Augsburg, meaning Endo needs a new partner in central midfield - Klement steps up. In attack, 14-goal top scorer Kalajdzic will continue to lead the VfB attack as they look to reignite their campaign over the final weeks of the season.

AUGSBURG TEAM NEWS

The absence of Uduokhai in defence for the remainder of the season with an ankle tendon injury makes return head coach Markus Weinzierl's task of keeping Augsburg no easier. Moravek comes into midfield, while Caligiuri is only on the bench with Niederlechner leading the attack.
