ADDED TIME

We'll have three minutes of time added on at the end of this game.
89'

NO CLEAR-CUT CHANCES

It's been all Leipzig here in the final minutes but Frankfurt are not allowing any clear-cut chances on their goal. Late heroics will be needed if Leipzig want to keep pace with Bayern now.
86'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Late reinforcements come on for Leipzig with Hwang and Adams replacing Forsberg and Haidara.
82'

HUGE CHANCE FOR JOVIC!

Frankfurt break away on the counter with Kostic and he plays Jovic in on goal to the left. He's slightly off-balance as he shoots with his left and the ball slices wide at the near post.

OFF GOES KAMADA

That's Kamada done for the day with Ache coming on in his place.
80'

KAMADA DOWN

The Frankfurt goalscorer is down after a challenge with Nkunku and an awkward fall. He'll look to continue but could be replaced with only 10 minutes to play.
79'

NKUNKU INVOLVED!

It's all Leipzig here and Nkunku has his first shot of the game. A low drive at the near post having raced onto a through-ball ahead of Sörloth.
78'

NOT FAR AWAY...

This time it's Sörloth who goes closes as he meets a ball bouncing across the Frankfurt area with a volley from 12 yards, but he drags his shot marginally wide across goal.

INTO THE FINAL 15...

Kamada cancelled out Forsberg's opener but Leipzig are on the charge once again...
75'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Here comes the attacking switch as Nkunku and Olmo replace Poulsen and Kluivert.
74'

POULSEN ON TARGET!

Leipzig come close again as Forsberg finds Poulsen in the Frankfurt area and he slides a shot across goal, but Trapp is perfectly placed to make a big save.
72'

DOUBLE CHANGE

Frankfurt make the first move in the second half with Jovic on for Silva and Barkok for Younes.
70'

FORSBERG JUST WIDE

The Leipzig goalscorer has a go for goal with the free-kick but sends it wide across goal with Trapp happy to watch it go by.
69'

TUTA BOOKED

The Frankfurt defender brings down Kluivert right on the edge of the Frankfurt area. He, like Younes, is now also suspended for next week.
67'

BIG CHANCE!

Leipzig work the ball into the Frankfurt area and a lovely backheel from Kluivert sends Halstenberg to the byline. His cut-back is heading for Poulsen, but a big block from N'Dicka gets in the way.
64'

CLINICAL FRANKFURT

KAMADA TO THE RESCUE!

Frankfurt have been looking more and more confident in attack and they make the most of their pressure. Silva is the architect with his cross from the left side of the area and it comes through for Kamada, whose half-volley isn't perfectly hit and Gulacsi gets a hand on it, but can't keep it out.

HUGE CHANCE FOR YOUNES!

Frankfurt have their best chance of the game and unsurprisingly it comes from the left and Kostic. He crosses for Younes, who flicks the ball goalward from eight yards out and it's looping over Gulacsi and in. But the Leipzig No.1 makes a fantastic reflex save to tip the ball over the top.

A BIG GOAL FOR LEIPZIG

With just two weeks to go until they face Bayern, every point is vital for title-chasing Leipzig. Three would be massive here.
55'

FRANKFURT ON THE HUNT

The Eagles have had just one attempt on goal so far through Kamada, and it was off target. They're getting themselves forward again now but Leipzig are defending just as well as they did in the first half.
51'

POULSEN JUST OVER!

Forsberg is brimming with confidence now as he skips to the byline on the left and dinks a cross into the middle. It's perfect for Poulsen to meet with a powerful header, but he can't keep it on target from close range.
49'

N'DICKA BOOKED

Frankfurt's French defender is shown an early yellow card here for a challenge on Haidara.
46'

FORSBERG FOR THE LEAD!

It's taken just two minutes for the hosts to take the lead here in the second half and Forsberg is the man with the goal. It's Kluivert who sparks the goal into motion with his shot from distance causing problems for Trapp. He parried the ball away but only into the path of Forsberg, who beat the offside trap to latch onto the loose ball and slot in the opener.

ADDED TIME

We'll have just one minute of time added on at the end of the first half.
44'

KLUIVERT BOOKED

A late first yellow card for the Leipzig winger as he becomes the second player cautioned by Felix Zwayer so far today.
42'

APPROACHING THE BREAK

You can tell from watching this game that these two sides are up towards the top of the table. Frankfurt's defence has been fantastic so far, as has Leipzig's - which is to be expected from the best defence in the league. The Eagles will be looking to get more attacking output in the second half, though.
39'

FIRST ATTEMPT ON GOAL!

Finally Frankfurt get themselves an attempt on goal, but it's not one they'll remember for a while. Sow finds Kamada in a touch of space on the edge of Leipzig's area but he slices his shot well wide of Gulacsi and his goal.
35'

STAYING DOMINANT

Leipzig aren't finding life easy against the Frankfurt defence, but they're keeping on the ball and keeping it up the pitch.

UPAMECANO INJURED

Leipzig's French defender has come off here holding his right hamstring, with Klostermann coming on in his place. Not a good sign for Upamecano.
27'

DEFENDING WELL

Leipzig are keeping Frankfurt penned in their own half for the most part here, and sometimes even just around their own penalty area. But Frankfurt are staying compact and disciplined in defence, not allowing space for crosses, shots or any danger on Trapp's goal.
23'

KOSTIC ON THE HUNT

Frankfurt's wing wizard almost latches onto Sow's through ball, but loses out in a battle with Mukiele before the ball runs loose to Gulacsi in the area. Silva has been kept quiet so far, but Kostic is a player who can always spark his team into life.
camera-photo

SÖRLOTH ON THE RIGHT

Leipzig are playing with a three-man attack in Sörloth, Poulsen and Kluivert. The two wide men - Sörloth and Kluivert - have been heavily involved so far.

YOUNES BOOKED

An early yellow card for Frankfurt as Younes is booked for a foul on Poulsen. He's now suspended for the game against Union next week.
14'

GOAL RULED OUT

Orban has the ball in the Frankfurt net but offside is correctly given against him. Forsberg latched onto a quick free-kick from Sabitzer before his pass found Orban to tap in, but the defender was just a margin offside.
13'

KAMADA ON THE RIGHT

We were wondering who would be out on the right flank for Frankfurt with no Durm or Toure and it's Kamada playing in that role. He'll have a lot more defensive work to do than he's used to, but does have Rode, Sow and Hasebe in midfield for support.
10'

INTENSE START

Leipzig have had the early chances but Frankfurt have been enjoying some possession themselves, mostly in defence. Both sides pressing hard against one another making it difficult for either team to keep the ball for a longer period.
7'

HUGE CHANCE FOR KLUIVERT!

Leipzig win the ball in midfield and play forward a slick counter. Forsberg sends a through-ball in behind for Kluivert to chase onto and he races into the area before shooting at goal. Trapp is off his line quickly and makes a big save with his right foot.
4'

FIRST GO AT GOAL

Sabitzer stings the palms of Trapp with the first shot on goal of the game. Leipzig making a quick start to this game and putting Frankfurt under some immediate pressure.
3'

FOUR MAN DEFENCE

As expected, Nagelsmann has changed things up and reverted to a four-man defence. So far it's been more of a two-man defence, though, with Halstenberg and Mukiele pushing both forward and into midfield.
1'

HERE WE GO!

The ball is rolling for the second of our three games today, with Frankfurt getting this big game underway.
Kick-off!

WHAT'S AT STAKE

It's second vs. fourth in a huge game at the top of the Bundesliga table. After Bayern Munich's win yesterday, Leipzig know they have to get a win to keep within reaching distance of the league leaders - they currently sit five points off Bayern. Frankfurt, meanwhile, are on the verge of a return to the Champions League. They have just a one-point lead ahead of Dortmund and want to keep themselves ahead of BVB and the chasing pack in the final qualification spot.

FRANKFURT'S TROUBLE ON THE ROAD?

Frankfurt have only lost three times this season, with all three defeats coming away from home. The most recent of those coming in their last away trip at Bremen.

WATCH: FRANKFURT 1-1 LEIPZIG - REVERSE FIXTURE

Yussuf Poulsen scored a stunning goal for Leipzig, but it wasn't enough to earn all three points when these sides last met.

SILVA'S HISTORY-MAKING SEASON

Franfurt striker Andre Silva has 19 goals after 24 rounds of matches: only three Frankfurt players have ever scored more in a single season: Bernd Hölzenbein (26, 1976/77), Rüdiger Wenzel (20, 1976/77) and Tony Yeboah (20, 1992/93).

TIME TO MASTER THE EAGLES?

Julian Nagelsmann has only won one of six competitive games against Frankfurt coach Hütter (in August 2019), losing four. Leipzig are the only team to have won each of their last six Bundesliga games. Nagelsmann has never won seven on the spin as head coach.

LEIPZIG TEAM NEWS

Upamecano played all 90 minutes of that game and starts again, with Orban rotated in ahead of Klostermann. In-form Sörloth partnered Poulsen at the Schwarzwald-Stadion last weekend, which they do again, but without the support of Nkunku and Olmo.

FRANKFURT TEAM NEWS

Last weekend was the first time Silva had been partnered by returning loanee Jovic from the start, and Adi Hütter gives the Portuguese the nod as a lone striker for the trip to the Red Bull Arena. Kamada and Tuta missed that draw with minor injuries but are back in the mix on Sunday. Fresh from extending his contract by another year, club captain Hasebe drops into central defence.
