BIG RESULT FOR BIELEFELD

The visitors will arguably be disappointed after twice having a two-goal lead in this match, but scoring three times at the Allianz Arena and taking a point of the Club World Cup champions is no mean feat in itself, and will surely stand the promoted side in good stead as they bid to avoid the drop as the business end of the season approaches.

LATE SUB

That was Klos' last involvement, as he makes way for the more defensive-minded van der Hoorn as Bielefeld look to hold on to a point.

OFF THE LINE FROM KLOS!

Kimmich takes the free-kick, delivering it deep to the back post. Lewandowski gets his head on it, but Klos is well placed to hook it off the line.

DANGEROUS FREE-KICK FOR BAYERN...

Davies is fouled just outside the Bielefeld area, on the right-hand corner of the box...

OVER FROM KUNZE!

A good opening for the visitors as Cordova is played free on the inside-left channel. Süle blocks his path and Bielefeld work it to the right, the ball eventually coming to Kunze on the edge of the Bayern area. He takes aim, but his shot is always rising on goes well over the bar.

JET-HEELED DAVIES

Amidst the flurry of goals it's also worth noting that Davies has just set the fourth-quickest speed recorded in the Bundesliga this season. The Canadian also holds the record for the fastest sprint in 2020/21at 35.94 kmh (22.33 mph).

LEWANDOWSKI CLOSE TO A FOURTH!

The Bayern striker is surrounded by players in the Bielefeld box but still gets a shot away. Ortega saves it but the rebound comes back to the Pole who heads it goalwards... but it bounces just wide of the post.

BAYERN EQUALISE!

It's been coming and Bayern are now level for the first time in the game. Sane gets to the byline on the right and lofts a cross into the middle. The chance looks to have gone when nobody is near it, but the ball comes to Davies, 16 yards out, and he lashes in a firm drive!

BAYERN BOSSING IT

The Reds are still controlling possession, but doing so with far greater urgency and purpose than in the first half. The away side are getting forward sporadically on the break, but those forays forward are becoming increasingly rare.

CHANCE FOR CORDOVA!

Coman loses the ball in the middle of the pitch and Bielefeld instantly break forward. There's space for Cordova, who times his run perfectly. He's played in on goal and goes for a shot, with Neuer off his line, but completely scuffs his attempted, barely touching the ball and allowing Süle in to clear.

BIELEFELD SCORE AGAIN!

You'd think Bielefeld might be take aback by Bayern scoring, but they go up the other end of the pitch and get another one, just 55 seconds after Lewandowski! Vogelsammer tears past Sarr on the left and crosses low into the middle for Gebauer to tap in from close range!
49'

STUNNING FROM LEWANDOWSKI!

Sane hits the post moments before this, but Bayern recycle possession with Alaba. He floats a cross into the middle, where Lewandowski controls it on his chest before turning and volleying in from eight yards. A brilliant finish!

BIELEFELD LEAD AT THE BREAK

Pieper (pictured), undoubtedly like many people across the globe, can't believe it, having scored Bielefeld's second goal of the game to give them a 2-0 lead at the break. Bayern have dominated possession but haven't created any gilt-edged scoring chances as yet, whereas their visitors have been absolutely ruthless with theirs.

LEWANDOWSKI ALMOST IN

Süle's long ball forward picks out Lewandowski, who is in space for the first time this game. It's a difficult one to control though, and his header isjust wayward enough to allow Pieper back in to nick it off his toe.

BLOW FOR BIELEFELD

Doan is forced off with an injury, and is replaced by Gebauer in midfield. That's a setback for the visitors, as the Japanese playmaker has been one of the best players this season, and orchestrator-in-chief in the final third.

CHANCE FOR SANE!

Lewandowski slides a pass into Sane's path on the right. The winger takes a first-time shot that Ortega does well to save - but it wouldn't have counted as the referee's assistant raises his flag for offside.

WIDE FROM CHOUPO-MOTING

Bayern's best chance so far as a brilliant ball over the defence from Alaba finds Choupo-Moting. He does well to hold off his marker and get a shot away under pressure, but his poke goes wide of the far post.

SANE ALMOST IN

Bielefeld are a touch too slow in trying to clear the ball from the back and Sane almost takes advantage. He scampers to the byline on the right and tries to cross to Choupo-Moting, but Pieper reads the danger and gets a block in.

HALF-CHANCE FOR TOLISSO

Hernandez sprays the ball wide to the right to Sane. He drifts inside again and curls a deep cross to the back post, where Tolisso is arriving. The Frenchman goes for the header, but goalkeeper Ortega just gets there ahead of him to clear.

CONFIDENT VISITORS

That goal has given Bielefeld an extra dose of self-belief and they're playing well right now, aggressively contesting the challenges and playing some nice passes across the pitch, although the play is largely concentrated in the middle of the park at the moment.

NEW BALLS

There's an increasingly thick layer of snow forming on the Allianz Arena pitch, leading to a break in play as the balls are switched from white to orange ones, while the pitch markings are also cleared.

BIELEFELD LEAD!

Wow, completely against the run of play and with their first attack, but Bielefeld have scored! It's a brilliant turn on the edge of the box from Vlap, his movement taking him away from both Süle and Hernandez, leaving him with a free shot at goal from 12 yards. He wastes no time and bent it past Neuer into the corner!

BRILLIANT FROM COMAN

The French winger does superbly well down the left, riding a couple of challenges before getting to the byline and looking to cross. It's cut out and Bayern win a free-kick, which comes to nothing, but a supreme show of confidence from Coman there to take on two defenders at once.

WATCH: BIELEFELD 1-4 BAYERN

Lewandowski and Müller each hit braces as Bayern eased to victory in Bielefeld on Matchday 4, while Doan opened his Bundesliga account for the promoted side.

HISTORY ON BAYERN'S SIDE

This is the 38th competitive meeting between these teams. Bayern have won 28 of them, including a 4-1 triumph earlier this season. There have been four draws and five Bielefeld wins - the last of which came in September 2006.

BIELEFELD TEAM NEWS

Bielefeld boss Uwe Neuhaus also makes three changes to his side following their last outing against Cologne 15 days ago (the team's Matchday 20 encounter in Bremen was postponed due to heavy snowfall). Prietl, Vlap and Voglsammer come in for Hartel, Yabo and Schipplock. It's a Bundesliga debut for 23-year-old Dutchman Vlap, while it's Voglsammer's first outing since Matchday 10, and his first top-flight start.

HOW WILL BAYERN LINE UP?

With the changes in personnel there is something of a new look to this Bayern team, but expect them to begin in a similar 4-2-3-1 formation as they did in the Club World Cup final victory over Tigres. Sarr, Süle, Hernandez and Davies will be the back four, with Alaba stepping forward into central midfield alongside Tolisso. Sane and Coman will be out wide, with Choupo-Moting in a central attacking position behind Lewandowski.

BAYERN TEAM NEWS

Hansi Flick makes three changes to the team that started the FIFA Club World Cup final last Thursday: Sarr replaces Pavard at right-back, Tolisso starts ahead of Kimmich in central midfield - the latter given a breather on the bench for now - while Choupo-Moting begins in place of the injured Gnabry. Müller, Boateng and Goretzka, who would all usually be candidates to start, remain unavailable.
