ADDED TIME!

We're into four minutes of added time here at Borussia-Park...
85'

HIGH AND WIDE FROM HAALAND

A huge chance for Haaland to seal all three points as he's found in front of goal by Sancho. He takes a touch and shoots, but the ball is sent sailing high into the stands behind Sommer's goal. Not what you expect when you see him lining up for a shot at goal...
85'

INTO THE FINAL FIVE...

Gladbach are pressing for a second equaliser here.
80'

HUGE CHANCE FOR EMBOLO!

Somehow it's not 2-2 here. Thuram is away down the right and picks out Embolo all alone in front of goal on the edge of the six-yard box. He flicks the ball at goal, but it goes across Bürki and beyond the far post. Harder to miss that one, really...
79'

SANCHO HITS THE POST!

Superb effort from the 19-year-old. Hazard takes the ball from Bensebaini and his cross runs to Sancho at the back post. He turns and curls a dream shot at goal, but it cannons back out off the far post with Sommer at full-stretch but unable to stop it.
77'

GETTING TENSE

Sancho and Bensebaini have a discussion off the ball after a challenge between the pair. Both are booked for pushing, but it's showing the tension of this game and how crucial it is for both sides. Still time for someone to change the story...
71'

HAKIMI PUTS BVB AHEAD!

A lovely goal from Dortmund who just tortured Gladbach into opening up space. Haaland is down but Dortmund play on and Can finds Sancho in space. He turns and sees Hakimi racing down the right flank with Hazard taking Bensebaini out of position with a run off the ball. Hakimi's first touch is heavy into the box, but he's able to reach the ball ahead of Sommer and slot it in beautifully.

DORTMUND ON TOP

The away side are in control of this game right now. A quick free-kick sends Hazard in down the right and his cross is about to be poked home by Haaland, but it's blocked at the last second by the Foals' defence.
66'

BIG GUNS ARE ON

Marcus Thuram comes on for Gladbach, while Jadon Sancho comes on for Dortmund. Can these two big names make a big impact on this game with 25 minutes to play?
64'

WHAT A SAVE FROM SOMMER!

Incredible football all-round there. Hakimi crosses in superbly for Hazard to flick a header at goal, and it looks certain to be heading in, but Sommer somehow gets down low to his right and parries the ball away just before the goal-line. Amazing.
58'

THINKING TO DO

Although Dortmund have enjoyed some possession in this second half, they've not been able to break through the home side's defence. Captain Piszczek comes to the sidelines to discuss things with Lucien Favre. Great options on the bench for BVB, including Jadon Sancho, should they need to use them.
54'

STINDL BACK TO HIS BEST

After injury trouble throughout last season, it looks like we're seeing the Gladbach captain back to his best. His six goals this season are double the amount he scored throughout last season already.
50'

STINDL DOES IT AGAIN!

And Gladbach are level inside the first five minutes of the second half. Dortmund won't be pleased with this one. It's a corner from Hofmann which drifts to the back post and finds Plea. He volleys it towards goal and Stindl is positioned to poke it at goal, squeezing it through Bürki and a defender on the line. His fifth goal in his last four games. What a run!

SECOND HALF BEGINS

We're back underway in Gladbach for the second half without a change to either side during the break.

A HAZARDOUS FIRST HALF

It's been an entertaining affair so far in Mönchengladbach with both sides matching each other across the pitch throughout. One moment of magic from Thorgan Hazard is all that separates us, after his magical Cruyff turn sent three defenders packing before he slotted the ball into the net. A first assist for Haaland, too, and Dortmund will be pleased going into the break.

ADDED TIME

We'll have three minutes of added time at the end of the first half, mainly due to Denis Zakaria's injury.
43'

HOME FANS GETTING BEHIND THEIR SIDE

The Foals are showing some real fight here. Winning big challenges, battling for every ball and making Dortmund work - and the home support is appreciating it. One last push before half-time for both sides.
40'

PLEA WITH A FLICK

A cross comes into the box from Bensebaini who is having a fantastic first half. It meets Plea's run across the box, with Zagadou slipping in his attempts to mark his fellow countryman, and Plea flicks the ball at goal with the outside of his right foot. Bürki is down well to make a comfortable save.
38'

HAALAND ON THE RUN

His first real opportunity in the game as he is sent forward by Brandt's through ball. He charges at Elvedi and goes to one side of him before lining up to shoot on his left, but the Gladbach defence makes a big block to deny him.
36'

ZAKARIA CAN'T CONTINUE

The vital cog in Gladbach's midfield has had to go off, being replaced by Tony Jantschke. It sees a change in formation for the Foals, now with a five-man defence.
31'

ZAKARIA DOWN

A nasty incident here as Sommer comes out to clear the ball from the edge of his own box and does so, but clips his fellow countryman in the knee in doing so. He's down and looks in some pain, but will do everything to be able to continue.
28'

DORTMUND'S DOMINANT DEFENDING

They're ahead with their only shot on goal of the game so far and have been able to keep Gladbach just as quiet at the other end with fantastic defending. Already 57 per cent of the game's duels won, with Can winning nine on his own in midfield.
22'

ALMOST FOR RAMY AGAIN

The full-back is having the most joy of any Gladbach player so far. He plays Plea a pass into the box and the Frenchman beats Hummels with the slightest of touches and reaches the ball before the byline to poke it at goal from close range. Bensebaini had continued his run and almost flicked it beyond Bürki, but instead, it went wide.
20'

A FIRST FOR HAALAND

By the way, Erling Haaland registered his first assist in the Bundesliga with his pass for Hazard's goal. He's also scored nine himself already.
16'

BIG CHANCE FOR BENSEBAINI

The left-back makes a fantastic run up the pitch and is found by Hofmann's pass. He goes for goal first time but misses the target by inches. Meanwhile, Emre Can is down injured for BVB.
12'

HAZARD LOVES TO START THE SHOW

15 of Hazard's 36 Bundesliga goals in total have put his side into the lead. His goal against his former side tonight also came with BVB's first shot on goal.
8'

AGAINST HIS FORMER SIDE

A classy goal from Thorgan Hazard against his former side. Erling Haaland finds the Belgian running into the box and he's forced wide, but turns back past three defenders to earn space for a shot on his left foot. He then sends a slick strike into the far bottom corner beyond Yann Sommer and stands to admire his own handy work.

LAINER FORCES A SAVE

Guerreiro is caught napping slightly at the back post as Lainer reaches a cross to the back post. He nips the ball into the air and gets a volley away at goal, but Bürki is out quickly and stays big to parry the ball away.
6'

FINDING THEIR FEET

Dortmund enjoying slightly more possession than their hosts so far, and getting their feet warm in defence with the ball being passed around plenty.

AND WE'RE OFF

The game is underway under the lights at Borussia-Park
Kick-off!

PACKED CROWD

It's full, it's loud and we're ready. The Battle of the Borussias is about to begin.

HUNGRY HAALAND

Erling may have only played seven games in the Bundesliga so far, but he has yet to go more than one game in a row without scoring. Failing to score tonight would make it two games in a row without a goal - or can he keep his fantastic form going?

FORTRESS BORUSSIA-PARK TONIGHT?

Gladbach are unbeaten in their last nine  Bundesliga games at home. All  of Dortmund's defeats this season have come on the road. This is going to be a good one...

WHAT IT ALL MEANS

A win for the home side will take them above Dortmund into third, while a win for the away side would take them above Leipzig in second, and just a single point behind leaders Bayern. A draw and Gladbach would move about Leverkusen into fourth while Dortmund would stay where they are. So basically, this is a huge game in the title race...

FOAL CAPTAIN FANTASTIC

Lars Stindl has been in his best form of the season so far, scoring four goals in his last three goals - all of those strikes coming in braces. If he were to score today, or even add two, it could help his side go ahead of BVB in the table by one point, taking them also one point within RB Leipzig in second with Nagelsmann's side drawing 0-0 at Wolfsburg today.

BVB WINNING THE RECENT BORUSSIA BATTLE

Dortmund have won each of the last nine Bundesliga matches against Gladbach, and also defeated their hosts in the DFB Cup earlier this season. It's the longest winning streak BVB currently hold against any Bundesliga team.

FAMILY REUNIONS

We have three players starting the game this evening facing their former clubs. Jonas Hofmann and Matthias Ginter for Gladbach, while Thorgan Hazard makes his first return to Borussia-Park since switching Borussia clubs in the summer.

THURAM ALSO ONLY ON THE BENCH

Another forward who has been struggling for fitness this week is Marcus Thuram. The Frenchman is only on the bench for the home side, but they do have the in-form Lars Stindl leading the attack alongside Alassane Plea.

SANCHO ON THE BENCH FOR BVB

Dortmund's top scorer and top assister this season has been left on the bench by Lucien Favre for this evening's game. Julian Brandt starts in his place, while Erling Haaland leads the line for BVB and it's otherwise as you'd expect. Perhaps Favre is keeping his prized possession ready for a big night in Paris next week.
