VfB snatched a second-placed finish to cap a tremendous season with 60,000 fans packed into the MHPArena to witness one final show from Serhou Guirassy and Co. 

Hoffenheim 4-2 Bayern Munich 

A sensational Andrej Kramarić hat-trick fuelled Hofffenheim's spectaular fightback against last season's champions, who had led this game by 2-0 after just six minutes. 

Borussia Dortmund 4-0 Darmstadt 

Marco Reus bid an emotional farewell to BVB with a trademark goal on his final appearance in Black-and-Yellow. 

Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 RB Leipzig 

Frankfurt made sure of sixth place after fighting back from a couple of goals down against Leipzig in a barnstorming contest.  

Union Berlin 2-1 Freiburg 

The hosts confirmed their Bundesliga status for another season despite missing a couple of penalties against a Freiburg side that bid farewell to coach Christian Streich. 

Heidenheim 4-1 Cologne 

The Billy-Goats' relegation to the second tier was confirmed on a day when Heidenheim jumped up to eighth spot to give themselves a shot at continental competition.

Wolfsburg 1-3 Mainz 

The 05ers made it nine games without a loss with a win that put to bed any remaining doubts about their Bundesliga survival. 

Werder Bremen 4-1 Bochum 

The visitors must contest a relegation play-off after this heavy defeat to a Werder Bremen side that ended the season in ninth.
